Concept Phase

We consult you even before the start of development during the concept phase of your project.
This is where the foundation for successful homologation is laid.


We provide the following services for you in this phase:


  • Determination of the appropriate vehicle class (e.g. M, N, L, etc.)
  • Determination of the applicable homologation requirements
  • Evaluation of the vehicle concept for approvability
  • Submission of proposals for concept optimization

Development Phase

We consult you particularly intensively during the development phase of your project.
This is because it is important to ensure that all type-approval-relevant features are included in the product.


We provide the following services for you in this phase:


  • Clarification of the technical requirements for the corresponding vehicle type
  • Clarification of the technical requirements for individual systems (e.g. lighting system, etc.)
  • Clarification of the technical requirements for individual components (e.g. lighting equipment, etc.)
  • Training of your development staff & accompaniment of the development process

Homologation Phase

During the type approval phase we support you particularly actively.
This decisive phase in the product development process begins parallel to the development phase.


We provide the following services for you in this phase:


  • Support with the introduction of the required quality management (e.g. ISO 9001:2015)
  • Support of the required manufacturer initial assessment (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt)
  • Implementation of the necessary process to ensure product conformity (CoP)
  • Selection and commissioning of a suitable technical service (e.g. TÜV, SGS, DEKRA, GTÜ, etc.)
  • Preparation of the required technical description documents
  • Accompaniment of all necessary technical test & application for all required type approvals

Production Phase

We continue to consult you after market entry.
Here it is important to ensure that all manufacturer obligations are properly fulfilled.


We provide the following services for you in this phase:


  • Support in monitoring continuous product conformity (CoP)
  • Assessment of homologation relevance for technical product modifications
  • Notification of existing type approvals for technical product modifications
  • Contact person for all questions concerning your existing type approval
